Winter Tours

Hop on the Trolley to explore downtown Kingston as it transforms for the winter season. December 1 to February 18, ride a heated Trolley on a 1h Historic Tour or Architectural Tour of Kingston. Your Tourguide will meet you at the Kingston Visitor Experience Centre at 209 Ontario St, and walk with you to the Trolley Departure point nearby.

Winter Trolley Tours:
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays in January and February
ADULTS: $25+hst
CHILDREN*: $17.50+hst

*children ages 4-12.  Infants ages 0-3 may ride the Trolley for free, but do require a ticket: be sure to reserve an "INFANT" ticket for children ages 0-3.

Historic Tour

A heated ride introduces you to the former political, military and cultural capital of Canada.


The Historic Tour it is a live-guided trolley tour experience focusing on an overview of Kingston history from 1673 to the present day.


Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays: 11:00am

  • Queen’s University
  • The Rideau Canal

Architecture Tour

Beautiful buildings and charming stories show the Limestone City in all its grandeur.


The Architecture Tour follows the same route as the Historic Tour and still provides an overview of Kingston history. This tour, however focuses heavily on construction styles and noted architects that helped to build up the Limestone City. We’ll speak briefly about major events like Kingston being named first Capital or the fire of 1840, but each of these stories will be used to explain the architecture that followed.
