The Ghost & Mystery Tour

Visit notable sites and neighbourhoods including:

• Downtown Kingston
• The Cataraqui Cemetery and Grave of Sir John A Macdonald
• The Rockwood Asylum
• Kingston Penitentiary

Ghost & Mystery tours are available from May until October.

At the Cataraqui Cemetery you’ll have the opportunity to disembark for an evening stroll among notable graves – none more so than that of Canada’s First Prime Minister: Sir John A Macdonald.

Kingston is one of the oldest cities in Ontario, and has amassed an impressive list of hauntings and mysterious stories:  The horrors of Kingston Penitentiary, child deaths at Bellevue House, the fair maiden ghost of Cedar Island. What happened when graves were robbed in Skeleton Park and why one can still stumble upon them today? Find out for yourself!

Before Your Tour

Kingston has issued a public health order making masks mandatory inside any indoor public setting. A face mask for every guest above the age of 2 will be required on this tour. Please bring your own mask as they will not be provided.
